After greater than a month on the run, a homicide suspect who was amongst 4 escapees from a Macon, Georgia, jail has been captured after a weeks-long manhunt.
Joey Travis Fournier, 52, was arrested Saturday afternoon close to Stockbridge, Georgia, in keeping with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Workplace. Fournier is being held on the Bibb County Detention Heart on homicide prices, police mentioned.
Fournier has been on the run since October 16, when he escaped from the Bibb County Jail with three different males, Mark Kerry Anderson, Jennifer Dernard Barnwell, and Chavis Demario Stokes.
On the time of the escape, the inmates pressured their method out of the detention middle by way of a smashed window and a downed fence, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Workplace mentioned in an announcement on the time of the escape.
